We have recently visited one of the best motion analysis laboratories of South America: Instituto de Ortopedia Infantil Roosevelt, located in Colombia (Bogotá). The center, boasting important collaborations with worldwide centers and prominent Brazilian universities, has achieved 1513 tests performed with the BTS technology in two years of operation. In addition to these analyses, more than 500 tests have been carried out with our inertial sensor G-WALK using the Timed Up and Go and the Walk protocols. The institute is currently experimenting different scientific publications focusing on the study of the average value of gait in patients with Parkinson and a number of diseases that affect walking.
We are really proud of the results achieved so far by this great orthopedic center of reference in South America and we would like to congratulate the whole staff of the laboratory!
